I started in this business at AXA, selling life insurance and financial advice. I was good at it, and I left it anyway — to compete as a professional jiu jitsu athlete. In 2019 I got choked unconscious in the first round of the Pan American Championships. I trained every day for a year, went back, and won it in 2020.
I tell you that because it's the most honest thing I can say about how I work. I don't cut corners, I don't quit on people, and I don't tell you what you want to hear.
